Into the Well

This game was made between 11th May to 20th May for Pixel Game Jam 2024

You were on your way to the beach but took a wrong turn somewhere. You've found yourself in the middle of a forest with only a well to comfort you. It beckons you. It speaks to you. It tells you to dive in... What could be the harm? It's not like there's monsters down there or anything. It's just a normal well.

Known bugs (Sorry!)

Score doesn't reset properly after dying

If you get far enough from the starting room you might stop swimming

Enemies can doorcamp you

Fish sometimes swim the wrong way

Attacking while inside an enemy doesn't damage them

Fish don't occlude walls when checking for the player

The wrong animation sometimes plays when you die
